Campbell Wharf Marina – piling works
The mixed use development at Campbell Wharf includes the provision of a new 111 berth narrowboat marina. In order to construct the consented scheme, some sheet piling works need to be carried out. This is a standard technique for marine structures but, unfortunately, a certain amount of noise and vibration is unavoidable.
The site team are working to complete the works as soon as possible and are bringing forward the planned closure of the towpath to allow for the piling of the entrance to the Milton Keynes to Bedford canal link.
This will result in the piling continuing for a couple of weeks longer, until 5th October, however once this is completed there will be no further piling will take place.
Whilst these works are undertaken, the towpath will be temporarily closed from Monday 17th September for three weeks.
Information signs will be placed around site to advise the alternative route during this time.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued patience whilst these works are carried out.
